The Mesick Historical Museum is featuring the history of Sherman. The museum has Sherman history on display - like old Sherman newspapers and pictures.
The museum has in its collection things like old newspapers, old pictures, lumbering display, tools, clothing, furniture, dishes, old school year books, scrapbooks, list of obituaries from the surrounding area and many more.
The Mesick Historical Museum will be open today from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will be open every Saturday from May 7th to October 2, 2010 or by appointment.
We will be featuring special events during the summer. Check the calendar on our web site www.mesickmuseum.com to see what those events are. They will be posted as soon as possible. We are also on Facebook at the same address.
We have for sale DVD's of old pictures, logging pictures, booklet of the history of the area, and a calendar.
If you are looking for the Sherman Pioneer Picnic today the date was changed to August 7, 2010 at the Mesick United Methodist Church on Alvin St. The same time as it is at noon and bring a dish to pass and other historical items you might want to share. Look on Aug. 7th for more details.
