The Mesick Historical Museum will be featuring the history of Harrietta today. We have some old scrapbooks, pictures, and articles about the surrounding area.
We will be featuring special events through out the summer so check our calendar from May 7th to October 2, 2010 to see what all we will be featuring this summer. Check our web site at www.mesickmuseum.com for the latest news. We are also on Facebook at the same address.
We are open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each Saturday on those dates or by appointment.
We have many historical items in our museum like dishes, old pictures, old newspapers, lumbering items, furniture, hats, clothing, tools, school year books, scrapbooks, musical instruments, and many more.
The museum has for sale DVD's of old pictures, booklet of the history of the area, old pictures, and a calendar.
Description:
The 123rd Sherman Pioneer Picnic date has been changed to this date. It will be at the Mesick United Methodist Church on Alvin Street. Time is the same at noon with a social time before the picnic to share and visit. Please bring a dish to pass and pictures and stories you know about the history of the town of Sherman.
