The Mesick Historical Museum is featuring River Day today and the Hodenpyl Dam. We will have a program on the history of the dam and pictures showing the building of the dam. We hope to have 2 people here who have lived down at the dam for many years and will try to answer any questions you might have. The museum does have some information on the Hodenpyl Dam.
We also have many items from the area that have been added to our collection like old pictures, newspapers, furniture, dishes, quilts, lumbering things, scrap books, clothing and hats plus many more.
We have events schedule thru out the summer so check back at our web site www.mesickmuseum.com for the events and we area also on Facebook at the same address. Check local newspapers and radio for the schedule of events also.
We have for sale booklets on the history of the area, DVD's of old pictures, calendars, and old lumbering pictures.
We are open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm every Saturday from May thru September or by appointment.
