The Mesick Museum will be featuring Barbara Paddock, a quilter, who will have quilts to see, answer questions about making of quilts, and demonstrate how to make a quilt while she is there.
The Mesick Historical Museum will be open today from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from May 7th to October 2, 2010.
We will be featuring special events during the summer. Check back at the calendar to see what those events are. They will be posted as soon as possible on our web site at www.mesickmuseum.com. We are also on Facebook at the same address.
The museum has in its collection the following items - old newspapers, old pictures, scrapbooks, clothing, furniture, dishes, list of obituaries from the surrounding area, tools, lumbering display and items, and many more.
We have for sale DVD's of old pictures, logging pictures, booklet of the history of the area, and calendars.
We are normally open on Saturday but you can arrange another time by contacting one of the volunteers to schedule this. The numbers are on the web site.
